Warrior
An illustration I did a while back for a comic book edition about WWI. I wanted to make an artwork dedicated to all heroic women of the First World War, both on the frontline and behind it. I liked the idea of a strong female figure charging ahead swiftly. To me it has a real comic book potential.
The work is hand inked, using a razor blade as inking tool, which allows a lot of elasticity and dynamism in line work. The coloring is off course digital, but kept simple, to keep an emphasis on the line art.
